Homemade Rosemary Focaccia Bread Recipe

Ingredients:
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 1/3 cups warm water
– 2 tsp active dry yeast
– 2 tsp salt
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 2-3 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
– Coarse sea salt for sprinkling

 Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the warm water with the yeast and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
2. Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
6. Punch down the dough and transfer it to the baking sheet. Gently stretch the dough to cover the sheet.
7. Drizzle the dough with olive oil, sprinkle chopped rosemary and sea salt on top.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Once baked, let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
