At Ravenlace, Clementine is relegated to the life she always thought she’d live: in service to the fae. As a maidservant she becomes familiar with the noble Ravenlace family, particularly their oldest daughter, Izara, and forms bonds with the household staff and servants who live to serve at her side.

But as time passes, she finds it difficult to let go of her past, especially with so much uncertainty about her future.

When it’s announced that the High Lord will be visiting Ravenlace as part of a tour of the court lands, Clementine wonders if he’s coming for her, or if she’s been sent to Ravenlace to live out the rest of her life outside of the Nightfallen.

This is the 10th episode in the House of Nightfallen series, and at 25k words it is the longest episode of the series yet!
